Recently came across a contemporary artist pulling from Nagel's style.  He's signing his own pieces, so he's not passing them off as Nagel's, he makes it clear they're his paintings done in the Nagel aesthetic; and he's making clear color and composition changes.  Some of his images just borrow the style, some are modifications, but some are dangerously good...

I want to say that Jimmy has posted here.  I seem to recall that he had a website with his works on it.

As Rob notes, Jimmy does use characters/images from Pat's works.  They are composites.  However, he does depart by using saturated colors in most of his works, and unusual color combinations.  He's not a black, white, and Payne's grey guy.  I also seem to recall that he is a self-taught artist.

Is he showing anywhere right now?
